What is the Imperial Hackathon?
The Imperial Hackathon is a groundbreaking science competition that challenges students to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. This annual event fosters a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine and Business (STEM-B) by providing a unique platform to showcase your talents and collaborate with like-minded individuals.

Running for the 2nd year in Hong Kong, we're bringing over all Hong Kong’s most creative and talented high school students together for a full day of learning, building, fun, and networking.

The Champion team will win some incredible prizes from us!
Why Participate?

Eligibility Requirements

Team Formation: All team members must be enrolled in Grade 10 or higher at the same school or branch in Hong Kong. Each team should consist of 3-4 student members, plus one supervising school staff member (e.g. subject teacher, school counsellor) for safeguarding purposes.

Roles Required: All roles including Product or Idea Owner, Designer, and Developer, should be assigned within your team when submitting the application form.

English Proficiency: All team members must be comfortable communicating and presenting in English.

School Representation: Each school can enter a maximum of two teams.

Team Supervision: Schools are responsible for chaperoning their Hackathon teams throughout the competition, including during the final round if selected.
